Retreats for Men of Alcoholics Anonymous
January 24-26, 2003 – Rosary Hall I for AA Men May 30 – June 1, 2003 – Tom Deere for AA Men Presenter: – Fr. Peter Deane, S.J. We are most happy to welcome Fr.Peter Deane, S.J. back to JRH. Fr. Deane has been doing retreats at JRH for men and women in AA since 1980. He also travels around the country doing retreats for those in Al-Anon andACA. The weekend’s presentations will lead to discussion of the spiritual impact of alcoholism and addiction and what it means to be an alcoholic/addict in recovery and using the tools of the 12 Steps . . . honesty, spiritual awakening, surrender healing, and building a supportive community by carrying the message. Fr. Deane is currently working at Boysville in Michigan. Pastretreatants have enjoyed Fr. Deane’s use of music and meditation throughout the weekend and have commented on his dynamic presence, sincerity and great sense of humor. The weekends begin with dinner on Friday at 6:30 P.M. and end at 11:00 A.M. on Sunday. The cost is $130, which includes a private, single room and 5 meals. Back To Calendar |
