Social Work The Oncology Social Worker assists patients and their families with the psychosocial impact of illness, disability and treatment. The Oncology Social Worker makes referrals to community resources, and provides supportive counseling and life care planning which includes discussion and assistance with Healthcare Advance Directives. The Oncology Social Worker also assists with issues regarding end of life. The Oncology Social Worker is an integral part of the care planning team to assist with safe discharge planning.

Nutrition Counseling: A nutrition counseling team will answer questions and will work to help patients maintain their weight. The team will help patients cope with the side effects of cancer therapy and will work to find supplements that complete your nutritional needs.
