Nephrology Clinic – Renal Services Center

Nurse at the Renal Regional Center

The Nephrology Clinic, part of the St. Alexius Specialty Clinics, specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of kidney diseases, including conditions these diseases can produce — such as hypertension — as well as diseases that can cause kidney failure — such as diabetes. Stage 4 Chronic Kidney Disease patients will receive services and treatment at the Nephrology Clinic until the illness progresses to Stage 5. At this point, the patient will begin receiving dialysis services. Nephrology also includes illnesses caused by abnormalities in the body’s water and mineral balance.
