Lenten Retreat 2009
an online series of prayers and reflections
Week of February 16 – Week of April 13
A retreat is a special time to be with the Lord in quiet and solitude and to say: “Speak, Lord, your servant is listening.” This Lenten Retreat will provide reflections from the Lenten liturgies and the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius, a “School of Prayer” that encourages many ways of praying.

Some readings from the Lenten liturgies will be included in this retreat, so you will need a Bible. Take your time and prayerfully make the retreat one week at a time, one day at a time. Slow and steady should be the way of proceeding in order to get the most out of the retreat experience.
Lent is a special time to be with the Lord through prayer, so I hope you will consider taking part in our Lenten Retreat.
