Men’s Lenten Weekend Retreat: Forgiveness, the Heart of the Gospel

Gather at Jesuit Retreat House for a weekend focused on Lenten prayer and renewal with Fr. Carl Bonk,  SJ.

Retreat begins Friday at 6:00PM and concludes Sunday before 11:00am. 
Jesus repeatedly talked about, and witnessed in his own life, the challenge of forgiving others as we have been forgiven by God throughout our life. It is for many the most challenging of Jesus’ message for those desiring to become His disciple. The presenter is Fr. Carl Bonk. Fr. Carl Bonk is a native of Detroit, Michigan who entered the Society of Jesus in 1960 and was ordained to the priesthood in 1982. He has served at Walsh Jesuit High School, where he was treasurer and part-time teacher, and at St. Ignatius High School, where he taught theology and coached baseball. He has served on the staff of Jesuit Retreat House and Loyola of the Lakes Jesuit Retreat House. Most recently he served as pastor at Ss. Peter & Paul Church in downtown Detroit. Cost $150
