The Gospels are meant to happen to us. As retreat leaders and facilitators for small groups, we are the keeper of the Gospel stories. Our God is waiting for us to enter into the stories, connect them with our daily lives and share them with those to whom we minister. In this program an emphasis on storytelling and spirituality will engage the participant in learning how Gospel Contemplation is connected and integrated into each of the dynamics of The Spiritual Exercises. Each session builds on the previous one and includes a practical experience of Gospel Contemplation that can be applied to facilitating our programs and retreats. Come and share in Peggy’s wisdom gleaned from a lifetime of ministry!
Sr. Peggy is an experienced spiritual director and retreat minister who received her training at Creighton University in Omaha, Nebraska. She has served in both the Cleveland and Youngstown Dioceses. She brings an extensive, rich background in education, theology, pastoral counseling, liturgy, parish ministry, and the development of Small Base Christian Communities. Peggy has a great love for scripture and contemplative prayer. She enjoys directing 19th Annotation retreats, giving presentations in the area of spirituality, supervising spiritual direction interns, and working in the Lay Leadership Programs for the Jesuit Retreat House.
