Walking the Pilgrim Way with Ignatius Loyola: Learning to Love as God Loves
Description:
St. Ignatius of Loyola created his Spiritual Exercises for people seeking a closer relationship to the Triune God, and deeper commitment to discipleship of Jesus Christ. Based on the final week of the Ignatian Exercises, this day will focus primarily on the Risen Christ’s call to love as God loves. Through input, an environment of quiet, the practice of contemplative prayer, and small group sharing, you will be invited to encounter the Risen Christ in your own life and respond to God’s call to love as Jesus loved.
Presented by Kathryn Haag, who currently serves the Diocese of Cleveland as the Acting Director of the Pastoral Ministry Office. A veteran and former missionary to El Salvador, she has also served as a nurse and as a pastoral associate in parish ministry. Kathryn holds an MA in Religious Studies. She earned certification in the direction of the Ignatian Exercises, and has supervised interns through the Ignatian Spirituality Institute at John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. In addition to her work in the Pastoral Ministry Office, Kathryn offers individual spiritual direction and 19th Annotation retreats.
