How about theatre camp? Even if actig is not his forte, they do do some sets, lighting etc, so they can experience everything, even for younger kids. My daughter does go to a residential camp where they do crafts, hiking, nature stuff, etc. Or maybe you can find a skills camp or program specific to his interests, like art camp. Good luck!
