Opening

Reception

the EICC (congress venue), from 18:30-19:30h.

After

the Opening Ceremony (from

17:30-18:30h) the congress participants are invited to attend the Opening

Reception. The Reception is free of charge for participants and accompanying

persons. For practical reasons, it is essential to tick the appropriate option

box on your registration form.

The Royal Museum – located in the very heart of the city centre – is one

of Scotland’s most magnificent and prestiguous venues, housing international

collections. The Royal Museum is not to be confused with the adjoining Museum of

Scotland, which together represent the National Museums of Scotland.

ESC delegates will be offered s Scottish evening – followed by authentic

Ceilidh (pronounced ‘Kaylee’) dancing for all those attending – in the Main Hall

of the Royal Museum, which is a showcase for may beautiful and intriguing

objects. During the reception a part of a temporary exhibit can be visited.

  • Price: 100 Euro per person, pre-registration using the registration

    form is required. Please tick the appropriate option box on your

    registration form.

  • Participants who have not booked in advance, can ask at the congress

    registration desk to see whether there are places left.

  • No shuttle bus is organised
