Colleen, I can remember when I got my drivers license very well. I was almost 17 (that was a little over three years ago). I took drivers ed privately, even though it was offered at my high school. I think I remember that the driving school I went to had experience with LD students. It took me two tries to pass the test for my licsence, but I thought I should have passed it on the first try. I actually consider myself a pretty good driver (I’ve never even been pulled over before). I hope your son is successful with his driving.

: My son who is 2 weeks from turning 18 wants is ready to learn to drive.
: We do not have drivers ed in our school, did anyone just enroll thier children in drivers ed or was there a special place you took them too.
: There is a place I could take Nick to be tested to see if he is ready for drivers ed, or I could just enroll him, he is determined to want to learn – just curious to see how other NLD kids have done with drivers ed.
: thanks
: Colleen
