I have to agree with Katie. However, if you are looking for things NLD families can do at home to help their child or what is going on at home, I highly recommend Pam Tanguay’s book, “Nonverbal Learning Disabilities at Home, A Parent’s Guide.” She also has a similar title ….”at School.” Both books helped me to understand what my child is experiencing and how to help her.

: I am a learning strategist for double coded students. I am at this time very involved with two kids who have nvld. I am especially interested in how the home environment can make or break this neurological disorder. Any comments in this area would be so much appreciated
