I am an adult with NLD who was on Effexor for awhile due to depression. I also have anxiety and it helped somewhat but for me, zoloft has been a whole lot better. If I remember correctly, zoloft, prozac, and paxil are suppose to be the best at treating the anxiety that coexists with depression. But I’m not a doctor so double check what I’ve said.
